Re — VA Mesothelioma & Asbestos Benefits Guide (https://re.teerresulttoday.live/) is an independent, non-government website that publishes education-only guides to VA disability, healthcare and survivor benefits for U.S. veterans and families affected by mesothelioma and asbestos exposure. What We Collect
There are no accounts, no registration and no newsletter on this site. Every guide can be read without giving us anything. The limited information that does reach us comes from three sources:
- Email you choose to send. When you write to our support address we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it to answer you and to handle whatever you have asked for, and nothing else.
- Server logs. Our hosting server automatically records standard technical information with each request: IP address, browser type and user agent, which pages were requested, and the date and time. These logs exist for security, troubleshooting and aggregate traffic counts, and are held for a limited period before being deleted or overwritten in the normal course of server operation.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Advertising and analytics partners may place cookies or use comparable technologies in your browser. That is described below and in more detail in our Cookie Policy.

Children
This site explains VA benefits for adult veterans and their families. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them, consistent with COPPA. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to the support address and we will delete it.
Analytics
We look at aggregate readership figures — which guides get read, roughly how many people arrive — using server-side statistics and, where enabled, Google Analytics. That data is used to decide what to write next, never to identify an individual reader. Where Google Analytics is active, its cookies are covered by the Google links above and by our Cookie Policy.
Security and Retention
The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted in transit. We deliberately hold as little personal data as possible: email correspondence, accessible only to the editorial team, and server logs that expire on a short cycle. No system is perfectly secure, but keeping the amount of data small keeps the exposure small.
